Life on fire – Volcanologists, protecting people from the fire of the earth

Whether in the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Colombia, Chile, Italy or Iceland, each of these countries has active volcanoes on its lands that threaten people living in their feet. To avoid tragedies, volcanologists are asked to become prophets and to be able to analyze the slightest manifestations of volcanoes. Throughout the world, these volcano trappers are putting their tools and knowledge at their disposal, to try to protect those who live under the fire of the Earth.

The history of life on Earth and that of fire are intimately linked: volcanism is at the origin of the formation of the first organic molecules and the appearance of life on Earth.
